View Channel Send Messages Embed Links Attach Files Mention @everyone, @here, and All Roles
Important: A successful /setup response does not replace channel permissions. The Bot must still be allowed to view the selected channel and send messages in it. Server-wide mentions are optional and can be controlled later with /everyone mode:Enable or /everyone mode:Disable.

Subscribe or Unsubscribe

Subscription controls are available to server members with the Manage Server or Administrator permission.

/setup

Subscribe and select a news channel

Open the channel where updates should be posted, then run /setup inside that channel.

The Bot saves that channel and enables news updates for the server. Running /setup in another channel changes the selected destination to the new channel.

Subscription active
/unsubscribe

Stop news updates for the server

Run /unsubscribe in the server to disable future news updates. This does not remove the Bot from the server.

To subscribe again, open the preferred news channel and run /setup.

Updates disabled
/everyone

Control server-wide notifications

Run /everyone mode:Enable to allow important alerts to notify everyone in the server.

Run /everyone mode:Disable to keep receiving updates without a server-wide mention.

Optional notification setting
Channel permissions still apply: the Bot must have View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links in the selected channel. Attach Files is also required when an update includes an uploaded image or file. To use enabled @everyone alerts, the Bot must also have Mention @everyone, @here, and All Roles permission.

Ready to connect your server?

Authorize the Bot through Discord, run /setup in the channel where updates should appear, use /everyone to control optional server-wide alerts, and use /unsubscribe whenever the server should stop receiving updates.
