1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through 10PipsTrade_Bot. Discord independently processes information under its own privacy policy, and this Policy does not control Discord’s practices.
2. Information We May Process
- Discord identifiers: user IDs, server or guild IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, interaction IDs, and related permission information.
- Interactions and commands: slash-command inputs, button or menu selections, and other information intentionally submitted to the Bot.
- Message content: only when a feature requires it, the Bot has the appropriate permission, and processing is necessary to respond or perform the requested function.
- Server configuration: selected channels, language or notification settings, feature preferences, and other administrator-configured settings.
- Technical information: timestamps, error messages, request status, performance information, and security or abuse-prevention logs.
The Bot does not ask for Discord passwords or authentication tokens. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information to the Bot.
3. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to:
- provide commands, market updates, economic-news reports, alerts, and requested Bot features;
- remember server settings and deliver content to the correct Discord channel;
- detect abuse, protect security, enforce applicable rules, and prevent service disruption;
- troubleshoot errors, monitor performance, and improve the Bot;
- comply with legal obligations and valid requests from competent authorities.
4. Legal Bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, information is processed as necessary to provide the requested service, based on legitimate interests in operating and securing the Bot, with consent where required, or to comply with legal obligations.
6. Data Retention
- Message content is not intentionally retained after processing unless storage is required for a feature requested by a user or administrator.
- Routine interaction and technical logs may be retained for up to 90 days.
- Server configuration may be retained until the Bot is removed from the server, the configuration is reset, or deletion is requested.
- Information may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Backups may persist for a limited additional period before automatic deletion or overwriting.
7. Security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet-based system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your Discord account or server by emailing support@10pips.trade. Include your Discord user ID and, when relevant, the server ID. Do not send your password or Bot token.
We may ask for reasonable verification to prevent unauthorized requests. Requests will be handled within the period required by applicable law. Server administrators may also remove the Bot, revoke its permissions, or reset its configuration through Discord.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Bot is not directed to children below the minimum age required to use Discord in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone who is not permitted to use Discord. A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child has provided information may contact us to request deletion.
10. International Processing
Discord and service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. Where required, reasonable safeguards are used for international data transfers.
11. Automated and AI-Generated Content
The Bot may use automated systems or artificial-intelligence services to summarize market information or generate content. Users should not submit sensitive personal information for processing. Automated output may contain errors and should be independently verified.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Bot, service providers, or legal requirements. The revised Policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
